Semi Permanent Make Up

Commonly Asked Questions about Semi Permanent Make Up

Getting something like semi permanent make up done can be scary in the beginning, especially if you have no idea what you are getting yourself into. Here, we are going to answer some of the most commonly asked questions about semi permanent make up so that your mind will be at ease and you will see just how incredible permanent make up truly is!

How Long Does It Last?

This is by far the most commonly asked question and it actually depends. It depends on the type of skin you have, the colors that you choose and also how long you keep your skin exposed to the sun. Lighter colors, such as light pink permanent blue or permanent eye shadow can fade quickly. Also, the longer that you keep your skin exposed to the sun, the shorter the longevity of your permanent make up. On average, typically, you will see the effects of this flawless make up after about 6 months to a year, however a small touch up can be done.

Does it hurt?

Topical anesthetic is typically applied prior to and also during the course of the treatment so that will prevent any pain that you may experience. In general, people have reported a discomfort rather than pain. After a series of about 3 to 5 treatments, you will most likely not notice any discomfort or pain at all. There might be some itching.

What are the side effects?

You may see some swelling around the make up that has been applied, but that usually goes down in a couple hours or a couple days, if you have gotten a lot of make up done. This is still the only side effects that you should experience.
